The Bronnum Lutheran Seminary Mbamba had her first matriculation ceremony on November 2015 at the Jolly Nyame Hall of Junior Seminary. The occasion which was to usher in students admitted for Bachelor’s Degree and Diplomas attracted members of the seminary community and some individuals from outside. The matriculation was slated to coincide with the marking of the Church Reformation day.
Delivering his message the Archbishop of LCCN Most Rev Nemuel A. Babba who was represented by Rt. Rev Clement Dogo the Bishop of Todi Diocese charged the seminarians to be worthy of their calling. He reiterated the need for them to be focused on doing what is right and be the people God want them to be. He said a seminarian is not a secular student who can freely engage in any kind of activities. “You are been trained to become pastors and leaders in the society.” He charged the seminarians to be diplomatic in resolving conflict and never resort to riots and violent approach to issues.
Simiarly, the Provost of the School Rev Dr. Wadumbiya presented a paper on the Luther’s Reformation to mark the reformation day of the Church Calendar. Rt. Rev. Briska Boyi the Deputy Provost of the College also shared his memories being the oldest lecturer in the Seminary. Rev Dr. Sekenwa Briska whom BLS is his Alma Mater thanked God for bringing the school thus far. Rev Buntausa Amos was the anchor the programme he said Bronnum Lutheran Seminary Mbamba has stood out in theological training in Nigeria. Other dignitaries shared their goodwill messages; among them was the Bishop of Yola Diocese Rt. Rev. Amos Yakubu.
